New Durham PD News

You may have noticed renewed activity at the New Durham Police Station. Chief Eric Millar reported for duty on Monday January 27th and has spent the week meeting with residents, patrolling the roads, checking in at New Durham School, and planning for the future. Next week the Chief welcomes Michael Volpe to the New Durham PD as the newest Patrol Officer and Robert Fitzsimmons as a PT Administrative Assistant. Michael has worked as a police officer in several area towns and comes highly recommended by the law enforcement community. Mr. Fitzsimmons retired from the MBTA Police in Massachusetts and has worked for Strafford County for the last decade. Bob will serve as a valued resource to Chief Millar during the PD reorganization. We are excited to welcome both Officer Volpe and Bob Fitzsimmons aboard and to see Chief Millar make forward progress with the PD.
